Microneedling can be used to smooth the skin and reduce crepey skin texture and fine lines. Microneedling is also a great option for patients looking to improve facial acne scars in patients 22 years of age and older.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure takes about 30 minutes to complete. A topical numbing cream can be placed to maximize comfort during the procedure. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, you are able to return to your day as normal. After the procedure your skin will appear red, like a mild sunburn and may feel tight. You will be given a moisturizing cream to use following the procedure and your skin will return to normal color within 24 hours after the procedure.
