Meet Dr. Mervau

I am obsessed with everything facial aesthetics! This passion motivates me to continue to learn the latest techniques, so I can provide my patients with the best care possible. Being trained as a dentist has allowed me to have a deep understanding of facial anatomy, including the muscles of the head and neck along with the vasculature. It has also taught me how important even a tiny tenth of a millimeter can be! Although I thought dentistry would be my one true love growing up, I found an even greater love for facial aesthetics. My training started with learning about Botox to help my dental patients stop clenching and grinding and to give relief for chronic pain. When patients started to ask if I could also give treatment to get rid of the lines in their foreheads or crows feet I thought why not enhance my skills to not only help people feel better, but also look their best!

I am currently trained in tox treatment to reduce the appearance of fine lines and help with issues like chronic pain and migraines, have taken advanced filler courses to treat not only the lips, but also areas like the cheeks and have mastered PDO smooth and lifting threads to create smoother, tighter and more youthful looking skin. I have trained with the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, have taken master filler courses with the world-renowned Julie Horne and completed cadaver courses to advance my skills and knowledge of the facial anatomy.

I am thrilled to be a part of the Santa Fe community and am so happy to call it my home. I am an animal lover, have a passion for traveling, and am in my happy place being in the outdoors with my family and horses.
